Setting up an Ocean Kayak Frenzy for fishing

    Hi,

I have a 9 foot Frenzy. It has no rod holders at all, and I'm keen to get some flush ones fitted. Unfirtunately, the yak has no covers you can remove so as to fasten attachments from underneath/behind.

Has anyone been through this process with the Frenzy or similar?

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Simon,

There are a couple of different examples on anglersafloat, projects, different kayaks (caper and prowler) but the principle would be the same.

    Cheers,
    Chaz

Strange how we spend soooo much on something that is designed to float, then start drilling holes in it ...... the first hole is the worst,

    good luck

    Use well nuts.

Personally for a Frenzy I would avoid the flushmounts and put a RAM-119 tube either side as they can be swung forewards or backwards depending on if you are trolling or fishing ahead of yourself. Because of the design of the frenzy it doesn't really suit flushmounts.
