    South Coast Kayaking

    Hi,
I have just bought a kayak and was wondering if anyone had any tips for fishing the south coast around Bognor and Littlehampton?

    Thanks
    Ben

Worthing benjy - what kind of experience do you have of kayaking?

I only ask because you should get to know how to handle your kayak before venturing out to go fishing - two weekends spent doing actual kayaking skills will keep you safer and you will be able to use your kayak more to its full advantage.

Anglers Afloat (another purely kayak fishing website) is organising several safety and tuition weeknds. last weekend there wer eover 100 present for the RNLI rescue exercises and workshops, then we had free paddling and kayak handling tuition by yours truely, and a fishing competition in aid of the RNLI on the Sunday so people could put their new learned skills into practise.

This weekend same kind of thing in Guernsey - we are off in a minute.
    next weekend, Mudeford.

It might well be worth passing this round to any newcomers - it is a long, and sometimes expensive learning curve otherwise.

    Stay safe and catch fish.
