Barra De Navidad was my first experience in marlin fishing and I have not turned back yet, they got me hooked on being out there looking for big game fish.. Within a 4 1/2 hour trip we landed 1 nice Dorado on the way out, then 1 tasty yellowfin tuna and then we did it, we got a nice beautiful blue marlin, it was kinda disapointing how easy this one wanted to come in but still boy was it s thrill. This was 2 years ago, I now go fishing in Barra De Navidad every year and I have not been disapointed yet! I suggest it to any angler who goes down south and wants to go try somewhere new.
