minehead
going down to minehead with the family in july.just wondering if its worth taking my yak along.if so,where do i go,what state of tide etc. and how strong is the tide pull over that side of the channel.any help would be great.cheers

there are strong tidal currents in that area, there is a lot of water moving over shallow ground. You could try Blue Anchor bay, you would be out of the main run of tide and it produces some good fish.
