    Question fish finder info ??

i am thinking of buying a kayak (prowler13) and fancy the advantage

of a fish finder , i don't see any of the suppliers offering to fit the finder

, are there any suppliers who have a good reputation for delivering a

kayak with a fishfinder ready to use . any info would be great ,

    cheers

I think Ocean Kayaks have a Fish Finder ready option and could probably supply it with the complete Hummingbird Fish finder fitted, but at a price and of course you would be limited to the model of fish finder, which they can supply. Possibly limited to the Ocean Prowler Elite Model?? - I can't find a suitable link.

You should contact Andrew Dron at Johnson Outdoors UK (Ocean Kayak distributor in UK for the details).

You would probably be better to buy your chosen kayak and fit the various angling bits & bobs yourself. There is plenty of advice on the Anglers Afloat Forum, under Projects if you do a search. The Projects cover all sorts of mods to the kayaks. It is not so difficult to do these mods yourself if you follow the instructions and advice given.

By the way, it looks like there is a new range of models about to hit the UK shops - including scaled down Tridents to 13 rather than 15 feet, etc. May be worth making enquiries before you part with your hard earned dosh!
