Im going up to wick/thurso next week and was wondering if anyone had any info on marks, tides, directions etc would be really appreciated</font>

I do not know the area, but in this months Sea Angler magazine (July issue), there is an article on a mark near Wick that will help you, and give directions too!</font>If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing tackle

well i sure hope u enjoy your holiday, coz fishing up in the Caithness shoreline is great. Go to www.caithness.org/fishing this will give you most of the information and contact details u need.
There are plenty of marks to explore, with good bags of fish to be taken. wick and thurso are notoriousley windy places which can make certain marks hazardous, so check the weather and relocate, for there are plenty areas to explore.
i will email you a list of the tidal predictions from tide plotter for the period 10-18 jul at wick and thurso (scrabster).
