Blue Planet iPlayer footage - Marlin/Sailfish
The BBC commissioned an impressive documentary series, narrated by naturalist David Attenborough, the Blue Planet. It was broadcast in 2007. Although there were, from memory, 10 episodes the footage relative to billfish, although spectacular, was limited. What they have done now though is to produce extended underwater footage, most of it previously unpublished, through their iPlayer service. (You need to download the free software available on their web site to view it.)
Here's the url of the near 50 minute footage - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00bfc29.
To recap it's not about fishing but shows really impressive underwater footage of Marlin & Sailfish, and also Yellowfin Tuna. I understand that this will only be available on line until, UK time, 17:00 hours on Saturday, 12th July 2008.
