    Morning my fellow fisherman.

Snapped the quantom Energy 240 a couple of weeks ago and am looking to purchase a new rod for targetting the bass. i have been on the Veals website and they are selling the 802ml for £125 special price. now does anybody rate these rods and will they be good enough to handle plugging for bass and the occasional SP session. any help or knowledge on the rods will be helpfull.. thanks

    FC

I had one for a while. I quite liked it but it did lock up on me on a couple of fish. Casts well, and can handle soft plastics down to about it's rated 10g. Be warned, it's trimmed in pink and the grips have quite a small diameter.

The 802 is a well built rod, offering great value for money. It will cast well and handle a bass with ease.
