    small whole in kayak

    hello all

I have a really small whole in my fibre glass kayak but have no clue where it is, i have looked all over but cannot find it anywhere. any suggestions on how i find the whole? it is only letting in a small amount of water but it is enough to put it out of balance within 10 minutes of being in the water.

How about filling the kayak with water, making sure the outside is dry and when you see a drip or a wet patch that'll help narrow it down to the area.

Are you absolutely sure it's a hole? Is there any other way water is getting in? Hatches, rod mounts, anything riveted etc?

As per previous reply, fill it with water, but try standing it up from several different angles, not just the right way up! It may be getting in from the top!
