    hi all thinking of fishing tramps alley saturday pm not been much on here latley about this venue slightly worried about getting weeded out are the whiting about yet ? cheers

    Hi mate haven't been for months but as this seems to be my second home (so the mrs says) have fished here most of the last 3/4 years and never had any massive trouble with weed... maybe i'm just luckey or can't cast far enough lol

    hi there king of the pipes, are you talking traps ally [nudist beach] or corton down the slip in front off all the rocks ? and yes there do seem to be a lot of the weed about at the moment so i do think short cast will favour. good luck

    will be north end mate south end to snaggy for me had some decent catches this time last year only worry is a big tide and a ton of weed waste of time then still got to be in it to win it.

    Never fished corton as yet, but been north at gorleston over the past few weeks and had no problem with weed, BUT that wind yesterday and last night may well have stirred up a lot of muck!
    Or it may have cleared it out and dumped it on the beaches? Don't know, was thinking of having a bash at gorleston tonight or tomorrow, having second thoughts now since you mentioned the 'W' word.

    As you say if you don't try, you don't know

    hope for no weed and a few fish

    corton tramps alley is good a venue in the winter paul , always try and fish into dark though for better catches gorleston is my local beach can be a bit hit and miss this time of year till whiting turn up good if weathers rough and theres alot of weed about though still like tramps better
