Rubber band's
I need a new set of the black rubber band's for my magnetic rod carrier (for on the car). The old one's are looking a bit perished.
Any help would be much appreciated

You could try a camping shop, they have large rubber bands about 2mm x 8mm wide in various lengths for tensioning guy lines.

Probably completely irrelevant in this country, but on the continent holding down anything on the roof with rubber bands/ stretch shock cords voids any insurance claim cover - including third party, so the bloke following you & getting a winscreen full of rods, etc., sues you directly, and you're lost rods are your affair.
We had to use either ratchet/toothed clamp CE approved fastening bands, or approved rope (see tiny print in the hundreds of pages of useless garbage in the policy)I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.
