I often fish the piers at whitehaven but it seems to be hit miss at the minute. I was going to try dubmill point at allonby as i have heard that can produce all year round. I grew up in maryport so i fished that most of my youth but since i moved out of maryport i havnt been back to fish there. Is it worth fishing at the minute

whitehaven pier often fishys very well after a good blow out. if you fish the small pier and cast towards lowca on the sand banks usually fetches cod of between 2 and 3 pound.
