@ jambojersey: sounds like super heavy leads and a brutal streaming? We plan a one-week trip from March29th until May 5th to Jersey - a little turbot and bass experience for my wife, me and two friends.

What you think about it - will boat angling work on 30th and 31th of March? And which lead-size you prefer for that conditions? I thought I would take the normal Shimano Aero Uptides with me, but know I think about boat rods up to 30 or 50lbs to fish a ca. 3lbs lead for bottom fishing?

Hello Karsten :If you want me to I can arrange some Hotel Accommodation @ a very nice Hotel Central St Helier with a German Chef who I worked with personally for seven years as a Chef +the Reception Will arrange all the Fishing trips from the Hotel,(all tackle & baits inclusive )refreshments can be arranged,Car hire, Shows, Entertainment etc!. Your offer sounds really good! But a friend of us works in a angling-travel agency and has some locations under contract in St. Helier. So I think we´ll stay in one of the guesthouses there, nearby the promenade.

Also I don´t know which boat we´ll charter, he has also boats under contract.

We want to make some photos for a fishing magazine and want to shoot some sequences for an angling film about Jersey. It would be great to have some coastal fishing trips for bass and pollack with you, if you want? And I hope, we´ll meet us also at evening for a pint or two?

Oh, I´m really happy to visit your lovely island, it´s a long dream for my wife and me becoming reality!

I hope your visit to Jersey for your Turbot And Bass Fishing Trip with the Angling Magazine Rute & Rolle (Rod and Reel) also the Angling Travel Bureau goes really well for you all.Have visited your sponsor site in Germany very very nice fish on show there www.hart-am-fisch.de Must be really Reliable Tackle to handle those Gorgeous Specimens on show on your Page "geschrieben von Karsten" I will be only to pleased to give you as much help as I can on Jersey information that you need.( The high tides ) are not recommended in Jersey for boat fishing as they run Very Very Strong indeed other tides are OK.( But Shore Fishing is Always Recommended ).Good Luck From Jambojersey.
