Spot on, bleedin` things are like mackeral. Had an invite last week to fish the Ettrick, could`nt make it, owner said on the phone that you could walk across the river on their backs.

over 700 in the tweed but none on the ness???????

lucky if the last week had ten.

tweed was an exception this year. and they wernt grilse which is strange. good size salmon being caught. yes a few other rivers have done well but vertually all rivers up here are almost down by half. i wouldnt call that a good year.
