See the thread ( back then, looked serious. Now .... ) a couple of years ago where "doom mongering" scientists were warning that, due to the increasing acidity of seawater (from CO2 dissolving), all coral reefs were in danger ?

Well, today some announced that they are all 'doomed' whatever we do : there is enough CO2 already in the air & water to finish them.


So, short of building giant "scrubbing" systems to get the gas out of the atmosphere quickly, they are as good as gone.
