England v Wales 8.
ENGLAND v WALES ……Meet no.8.
OGMORE BEACH and surrounding areas ??????
Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan.
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8th 2009
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...11222&t=h&z=16
A link to a local site courtesy of Barrelreef..........http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...3Doff%26sa%3DN
It's a mid-range tide and we'll be fishing from low water up to high.
Low water being about 12.15 ish.
Meet and greet is in the car park by the beach at 10.00am onward.
It's an easy venue for the less able among us, with the beach straight out in front of the car park.
I expect a fragmented meet this time as conger marks are available on the rocks to the left of the beach, where unfortunately local knowledge may be very advantageous.
Following on from the Chesil meet, where 62 English anglers turned into 24 on the day....
Everyone is welcome to join us and declare their interest on this thread, but I will only add your name to the Team England list following a P.M. from you.
As usual this is a friendly, competitive meet who's aim has always been.... fish and have fun, raise some cash for charity and 'spank' the Cocky Welsh on their beach.
C'mon England....

Forgive me mate......... I assumed YOUR Cpt's link would be correct, forgot... never trust a Welshman.
I'm sure if you click HIS link on HIS main post you can put both HIM and Google right as well....
As regards the 20 minute walk.........
"I expect a fragmented meet this time as conger marks are available on the rocks to the left of the beach"
...just about covers that.
Thanks for the input mate.
