Following hard on the heels of the success of the autumn "meets", it was agreed by those out on the last trip that we should try to get some more trips out of Grimsby, aboard skipper Chris. Fyson's boat the Lady Nicola. The dates and departure times from the Fish Docks that have been offered are:

Thurs. 15th Jan - 1000hrs
Thurs. 29th Jan - 0830hrs
Thurs. 12th Feb - 0830hrs
Wed. 25th Feb - 0700hrs
Thurs. 12th Mar - 0730hrs
Thurs. 26th Mar - 0600hrs

If I have pm'd you before with different dates, then I'm sorry for any inconvenience. The change has come about because our sailing times would have been at "silly o'clock" - eg 3.30am!! Hope everyone understands!!

The cost works out at app £42pp for eight fishing on a 9/10 hour trip. The price varies accordingly for more or less anglers. Bait (unwashed squid) is available at a nominal cost (£2 - £3)
We have had an excellent autumn's fishing and we have caught plenty of cod. Chris. Fyson tells me the WSF members have not only the best bag (42 fish) of the season but the biggest fish (17lb) as well. The atmosphere aboard has been great. Plenty of "fishy chat",with lots of good ideas being shared and loads of laughs.
