hi tony there is a section on boat drifting and wrecking on http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/carnagecrew which might help you for the boat bit, and if you seach around the main site here you will find all kinds of information on rigs etc, any specific questions please ask as someone will be able to help.
work is for those who don't know how to fish

Hi Tony
I guess you are talking about the Mannin Angling Festival ?
The boat fishing will mainly be for Pollack (or callig as they are known locally)
I am not familiar with the format of the comps - is it a rover or will you be pegged on Port St Mary Breakwater ? (in which case it's down the side tactics for coalfish and ballan)
