There was a hell of a lot of laughs and fish at the last one. Brilliant time in the pub and it went like clockwork after all the hard work everyone put in.
We made 1300 quid on the day and over £2500 in total. It is a fantastic place to meet and fish and people started to fill the local B&B's pretty quick although most were local and came on the day.
The help for Heroes charity were mightily impressed and it is now an annual event with big intentions and all run by WSF Guys. Honestly lads it really is a fantastic day and a massively important charity considering the way some of our armed forces are coming home.
It needs our support! Any donations are desperately needed no matter how small and these can be done here. Also, and this is equally as important, last year we decided not to hold a raffle and we auctioned the donated tackle in the pub. We made £270 within 30 minutes and we want to do this again this year.
Anything you have tackle wise, or anything at all for that matter no matter how small! we need it, even a packet of hooks, beads or any gear you simply do not need. we will have it please
if anyone does have anything then please PM me.
Everyone is impressed with what we did last year. TSF are going to be there alongside the local Help for Heroes fundraisers who braved some crappy weather to support us.
Here is how we got on last year
Patester Put £10 quid in that just giving link to "test it was working" come on guys don't let him steal all the credit because you know he will never let anyone forget!Moonfleet-angling.com for clever rigs
