Backing problem!
Can i join 17lb fishing line to hollow nylol braid, i need to bulk my backing up and i've ran out of braid. Any ideas? Im not sure if it's possible and how to knot the two together.

I should think you can feed the mono (I'm assuming your 17lb line is mono) up through the centre of the braided nylon for at least six inches and then push it out through the side wall and do a nail knot around the braid. Then either whip over or pliobond the end (last quarter inch) of the braided nylon {over the top of where the mon is entering it} to stop it gradually fraying.
