Help for Heroes 2009 comes to the East coast

    Hi guys

This years Help for Heroes charity event will be held on the East coast
last years event was a huge sucess in Arnside Cumbria and it raised near £3000 with the kind people off WSF

Ian Houlton, myself will be organising the charity match

I hope you guys on the East coast will provide us with a great match and welcome the members of WSF with open arms to your coast

The date is yet to be arranged but shouldnt take long to arrange

This year we have had the idea of best pairs and maybe a 24hour match

It will also be a sponsored event and there will be a special prize for the most money raised

Last year we had a live auction after the match which raised alot of money for the charity

We look forward to working along side you and having a great charity meet on the East coast

    Leigh & Ian

anyone got any ideas how mogs eye and the likes will fish in Aug/Sep?
I know a few guys over there, WRC, sidewis and the like. Some local knowledge would be handy.

Bit hit and miss I should think, going on past experience....

Why not try Chapel Point,it always seems to be more consistant than other marks, and parking is a bit easier....though I do suggest a sort of patrol with a couple of lads every half hour/hour,because like a lot of places of late, car crime is a bit rife...

Depending on what's arranged, provisionally put me in,but I am giving advanced notice,I won't be able to do a full 24 hr.....
