Advice for a Londoner?

Hello all...

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to fish along the Essex or Sussex coast? I'd like somewhere I can do a bit of rock hopping / lure fishing preferably for Bass.

Somewhere I can get to fairly easily from London (using the train).

I'm not asking for any secret mark info (unless you're feeling generous), just general locations.

Any help much appreciated, I'm going mad watching all the fishing on sky, can't wait to get to the coast.
