Tri-nations Meet ?
This is an idea that's been 'mooted' for a while now..............
Just to judge the possibilities and gauge numbers etc...............
Let's propose this scenario and see who's genuinely up for it.....
Scotstown...........October.......
Drive yourselves up, camp or B 'n' B,
Fish and Meet on a Saturday, have a few drinks/BBQ on the evening...
Sunday, fish and/or drive home.
Coming from the Midlands I'd travel up on the Friday afternoon/evening.
I'd B'n'B the Friday/Sat nights
I'd fish the meet and fish again on the Sun morn, then drive home.
With fuel/food/accom/bait/fags I'd be looking at 200-300 quid.
If you live closer or like to camp it's gonna be a fair bit cheaper.
Now, seriously, do you want to meet/beat the WSF Sweaties and Taffs that much ?
I DO !.
When Steven Wood was laid to rest, we said goodbye to one of the best.

In case people are wondering where Scotstown is, it's about 3 miles north of Peterhead in the NE of Scotland
