Rapala Competition
Have any of you guys noticed this comp that has been running for a few months in Sea Angler? All it takes is a nice photo of a bass with a Rapala sticking out of its mouth and you may win a sling bag and other goodies. The best photo of the season wins a trip to Jersey with Dave Lewis and Nigel Bracey of Shimano, fishing with yours truely!! So if you do catch on a Rapala this season its worth making sure you get a good piccy of the fish, you and the lure still inits gob. If it is one of you guys that manages to win it then get in touch and we can make a few days of it.

Clip on either the 'Ghost' or preferably the Chartreuse coloured X-Rap Slashbait (with the teaser on tail treble) and you wont need 'stretch' the rules. Can be killers in deeper water! If I did it and won, do you think I could choose to go to Ireland, instead of a holiday where I live?

Rapala catch
I had one 5lb 7 oz in March on a Husky Jerk (HJ10) in glass/white colour.
Didn't enter it as I had no witness with me and I like to put them back. I posted a photo on the forum back then just for the boys

I was thinking of buying the Sub-Walk for this season which would then put me in with a chance. Does anyone know if these are any good?
Nobody warned me that this was going to become an obsession...

The last two editions of Sea Angler , have shown two fish caught on
Rapala lures !!!!!! Both fish were caught overseas . one in Egypt ?
The second in Belize.
Surely this competition would have been for fish taken in the uk
Overseas trips i think set an unfair challenge to the spieces that can only be caught in the uk .
I start off with a hard on e then i go and get a softie.... (Lure that is)
My best top water bass
