    Hello People,
Just 'fishing' ah ha! For information on Loe Bar, ive tried searching the forum but return no matches. I understand its a sharply shelving pebble beach that gets deep quickly. Ive fished chesil recently which is similar but much longer with some good results. I wanted to know what species to expect this time of year, what winds its fishable in, weed, day/night and such points of interest. Also do you get shoals of makeral coming in (I had some big shoals chasing whitebait within 15 yards of the shore at chesil!) I have kit to cover most aspects of sea fishing...
    Cheers

Not sure about the Loe, but I have fished Gunwalloe which is to the south of the bar and have witnessed the whitebait jumping out onto the beach to get away from the mackerel, they were that close.

Sounds promising will have to give it a try. Whats the ground like at Gunwalloe?

hey adfish, i'm sure this has been mentioned before: for whatever reason, the forum doesn't like searches of words with 3 letters or less, so you won't find any posts for 'loe bar'

but if you go to google and type in "site:www.worldseafishing.com loe bar", you'll get plenty of results for loe bar - happy reading!

i've only fished loe bar a couple of times, both resulting in a big fat blank, but others have no doubt had better results
