Port Douglas boat report 7th May
Managed to get out for a few hrs with reports of good large numbers of mackerel being caught.
Well I lost 1 fish which bite through my wire trace, but my mate did catch a 75lb shark and a 35lb spanish.
We fished the batt reef and the spanish came on a livebait drifting freeline from the back of the boat.

great weather for a winters day

It looks nice over there.
Decent size fish as well, what a bonus. Sure beats Southend pier?
what type of shark is that?
