    There will be skate about and smuts should turn up soon with the growing number of peeler crab,should of been afloat this week end but the wind has ****ed it up yet again for me,if you are a good caster and wade out there will be skate to be had i, just love sitting afloat and catching them ,oh the days gone bye,can't remember the last time down 2010 i think?.

    unfortunatley, im at work, and i cant get down there till at least 7pm, today, it will be a falling tide, what re the odds on catching anything???

    Recolver railings last weekend , Kings hall last night and it was blank-cadie Blank all the way. Unless you fish for crabs , Very slow or maybe after 30 years fishing , i still know nothing

    improve your casting is what i would suggest, very shallow round here

    Funny you say that Shoreman1 , been practicing casting more than fishing. After lesson's 5 years ago from the legend John French on casting , iv gone from 110 yards max effort bomb weight no bait to 150 yards fully baited wind in ya face minimum effort flick , either off the ground or pendulum. I go to Hampton practicing quite alot when water is high and jet ski's are well with-in range now lol. How about you then Shoreman1 ?

    just because its shallow dosnt mean there is nothing big close in
    species 2013 - dab, whiting, codlyn, thornback ray, dog fish, poutin

    target: ( 10lb + ray ) - ( 8lb + bass ) - ( 15lb hound ) - ( 10lb cod ) ( + mullet any size )

    Done: ( thornback ray - 13lb 6oz )

    its always the longer rod that produces for me, i always go 1 long, 1 short just incase lol

    i dont know im not the best of casters myself lol was emptying nearly 3 quarters of a 7ht mag with 0.35 line on with slight offshore breeze last time i went. fukk knows how far that is
