Seagulls & Swinging moorings
The question is, how do you keep them of your boat?
Anthropoid communities that are unempowered in the comprehension of polysyllabic locutions should hold them in abeyance…
Or: People who don’t understand big words shouldn’t use them...
Watch out fish, this year I'm getting serious

Sure Fire Tip!
Number 4 shot, full choke barrel, 30-35yds, never fails, or even better .22 telescopic sight, sub-sonic shells, "click", there is no answer to the dreaded "****ehawk", except a full cover so they cant perch, but its as big a pain as the c**p!

Mmmmm, that has crossed my mind many a time the last two seasons. Not looking forward to another year having to dig the cr#p of the cabin roof and tonnau coverNumber 4 shot, full choke barrel, 30-35yds, never fails,

Give it a sharp angle
They dont like sharp angles because of their webbed feet, so put everything as sharp an angle as possible, they love flat surfaces, so if you have a flat roof on your cabin, fix a spar above it, & cover it like a ridge tent, they wont perch on sharp angles.

A selection of bread , cake and leftover chips carefully displayed on the boat 5 berths away should keep them off yours,to avoid upsetting that boats owner I would suggest making sure the chips are free from ketchup,it pays to be thoughtful

I used to bring my cat in the boat and he would do a fine job of scaring away an individual gull but a flock of them tend to gang up on him and peck the **** out of him. The flock had to answer to my BB gun. For the non chalant method use, here is an American secret. Feed them Alka Seltzer

Looks like it's the shotgun then
Ah well, it will pass the time when the fishings slow
