Bangor Pier

hey all,
i fished the pier yesterday, about 12.00 till 2.00pm
Had a really nice couple of hours, i just wish i'd bought more bait, caught two sizable whiting and a codling about 1 1/4 pounds, surprizingly i caught the codling on siz four hooks and a two inch sction of black lug intened for Dab.
I was fishing a three hook running ledger on my flatty rod, it worked a treat in the tide catching loads of small whiting an the codling.
i had sevral stronger bites on larger black lug baits but i couldn't connect with them, i like to think they where codling, but i know they where probably dogfish.
