Windlace????
Hello folks, I have just purchased a Mayland 13.6 boat and am now trying to restore it. Does anybody know what the edging material for the fibreglass is called? In America it`s known as windlace, but a uk search produces nothing??
Have found a rubber version for sale in the uk but would prefer the original.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi again, sorry Chris........i just reread my post and realised I didnt quite explain properly (virgin boat owner). The strip you mentioned is the one that go`s around the outside of the boat? i believe?. The material I am after is a "u" shaped construction with internal metal, that clips around the internal edges of the boat (in basic terms where the top is fixed to the bottom inside the boat)

Have a look at item 267 and 267A, also 304 for tight radius
