spark plugs
well lads
heres one for you
how can i check the correct spark plug type for my outboard?
it's a 1991 johnson 25hp commercial two strokesometimes everything in my favour is going against me

Ring a dealer and ask them.... I find if you make noises about needing somewhere to have your engine serviced most will give out info for small jobs like that

Failing that go to the iboats.com forums and ask the question (give your serial number too) and you'll find out.

on the same not i am a machanic by trade and find the bosch plugs are better in 2 stroke motors as i have had to rebuild several 2 stoke bikes with holes in there pistons all without fail were fitted with champion plugs,i have never had a hold piston rebuild when bosch plugs have been used,worth remembering dont you think
