Transducer Antifoul
I have a transom mount transducer will it be ok to antifoul this?

Yes no problem, I have mine antifouled with Blakes Tiger, although maybe a high copper version would not be good?

I thought you were not supposed to put anti-fouling on the transducer as it reduced it sensitivity.

They are all designed to take antifoul, there will be no effect by painting it.

I never antifoul mine. It gets a bit furry by the end of the season but its easily cleaned with a brush. However, as an internal mounting would shoot through the fibreglass AND the antifoul, I can't see antifoul on its own being a problem! Next time out I'll probably antifoul mine.
