    Daiwa Paul Kerry Supercast Rod

    Hi all

A mate of mine lent me a Daiwa 12 foot Paul Kerry Supercast Rod recently
    I'm sure it's a mark 1. 4-8oz and in good condition.

I found it a pleasure to use, so he has asked me to make him an offer for it.
Anyone got any ideas on the possible value, as I don't want to insult him, but at the same time I don't want to rip myself off.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

is it the original glass one, or the semi carbon grey one, or the more TOTR ones, either way i always found them to be great rods, don't know what there worth now though.

    re Paul Kerry Rod

    Thanks Tim

It’s a carbon type material, very light, the blank is hollow and the inner of the rod is black, the outer is also black, but polished, it is in 2 equal sections.

The top section has 7 rings including the tip ring, whilst the butt section has only 1 large ring.

(It was given to my mate by his brother who spends literally thousands a year on tackle, alright for some eh!)

I have included some clickable pictures.

Thanks Shrekwitt that might be the best idea, stick it on Ebay and I may get a bargain, or it could be that my mate might get a nice suprise and I lose out. Still thats the luck of the draw.

Yep, I reckon its that too Tim, I got two here doing nothing, one needs a complete rebuild though, but the blank itself is in good condition,i have no use for it though.
