Firstly, a big thank you to all who turned out to fish the match, and to the Lincoln Castle for the facilities, raffle prizes, and the food. The number of anglers was a bit disappointing but not surprising considering the weather! However the rain cleared up, and there were some very nice fish weighed in, listed below.

    Richard Brankin - cod - 6lb 6oz
    Steve Newton - cod - 6lb 6oz
    Scott Hewitt -cod - 5lb 11oz
    Colin Watson - cod - 5lb 10oz
    Dean Favill - cod - 5lb 3oz
    Colin Watson- cod - 4lb 14oz
    Matt Daubney - cod - 5lb 2oz
    Steve Newton - cod - 3lb 15oz
    Scott Hewitt - cod - 3lb 15oz

As you can see, there was a tie for first place, Richard Brankin and Steve Newton sharing £230. The third prize of £50 went to Scott Hewitt for his 5lb 11oz cod.

Scott and I hope that everybody had a good time, and you will all join us for the next match on December 27th, details to be announced shortly. The photos of the winning fish will be posted on the main website gallery later today.

    Scott & Steve
