06th Anglesey Boat Angling Festival
Following a 3 year break 2010 will see the welcome return of the Anglesey Boat Angling Festival. This ever popular event has been missed by many of the participants over the years. Now with a new venue at Holyhead on Anglesey and a tweak to the format, the festival returns on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May and Tuesday 01st June and looks set to continue for years to come.

As a catch and release match it gives a far greater chance for fish survival than the matches that still go ahead today requiring all the fish be retained in a bucket.
Granted some fish will not survive, this happens in the day to day life of our sport, despite how much attention and care most of us take as anglers.
I accpet that match fishing is not for everyone, but others enjoy the fishing, knowledge, banter. Simply why so many matches are held all over the UK each year.Last edited by littlemissmermaid; 17-01-2010 at 11:40. Reason: Merged post's into one...
