Welcome to the site. There are quite a number of landlocked members, I believe a few from your neck of the woods.
Men are like fish, we only get into trouble when we open our mouth.

Hi Midlands
Welcome to the site and the Landlocked bit. I am from Peterborough and normally fish on the east coast. Went to Cley yesterday and got soaked through. Did not catch any fish despite trying Lug, Mackie, Squid, Prawns and a combination of all of them. Tried different size hooks and no fish wanted it. My mate CD caught one small Scorpion fish about 13cms long. We were on the beach from 9am to 1pm and it never stopped raining at all.
If you want someone to fish with just let me know where and when you are going and I'll let you know if I can make it.
Places we normally go are Cley, Salthouse, Cromer but I am thinking of giving Skeggy area a go in the next couple of weeks and might even try an evening session.
Regards Iceburg

You are right there Midlands. Things can only get better. At least the weather is better this week. I hope it continues for a while - it may tempt a few fish in-shore.

Hi Guys,
I don't normally look at this section of the site.
I live near Rugby and fish the south coast quite a bit both shore and boat. I am on Sea Juicer from Portsmouth tomorrow, on a bream session.
Once the water has warmed up a bit i will probably have 2 or 3 beach trips a month, mainly on week days.
If this is any use to any of you please post a reply or PM me.
Mike
