all i know that it is good for pollack, thats it, i would recomend using squid or fake worms to draw them in

Had some nice black bream off the back during the summer months on squid strip.
White rag on float off the end at night is superb for some sizeable pollack.

If you can get the tides right, or have a boat, good for conger in the evening!
Be warned that they will lock you on there, and it is a nightmare to walk back if thats your plan.
