Saturday 13th March saw Chapel Beach Angling Clubs 6th match of the season. It was fished at Sandilands Golf Club between 2.30pm and 6.30pm. The weather was fine with a westerly wind, the sea was slight and the bottom was holding. A good turnout of members was had and a total of 5 flatties were caught (the best result so far). The winner of the match was Stuart Pears from Mablethorpe with a catch of 2 flatties and a total of 56cm, second place was taken by Glyn Davies with a 1 flattie catch and a total of 26cm, third place was taken by new member Andrew on this his first match with a 1 flattie catch and a total of 24cm. Stuart Pears also took the prize for the biggest flat species.

Our next match is on Saturday 20th March at Trunch Lane behind the boating lake between 5pm and 9pm. Registration is at Fat Wallys in Chapel St Leonards between 2pm and 3pm.
