I remember the first Fish I caught at the end on the right castle side A Mackerel on feathers. Plus I saw a Mullet Fisherman catch a winning bag of Mullet from the end at the lock gate put in a spoon of shervie fishing on gentles(Maggots" three on a hook you could see the Mullet at work. Drop net used to land them one after the other. lots of trigger fish about in summer to be seen at night under the harbour lights can see the bass jumping there as well at the entrance to the Marina but not allowed to fish in the Marina. I have also caught Bass on the "LE FRIGATE "platform steps that go down to the beach on high tide on lug but make sure you know the tides very very dangerous on high tides.

But.....if the marina staff catch anyone fishing in the channel leading into the marina, they usually turf them out. They have a security camera that covers the entrance!

I go to the marina lots i even speak to the marina guy he just talks to me. maybe i just get the nice man.
