Weekend Cathches
Hi Everyone,
Didn't managed to get out myself over the w/e - putting the finishing touches on the boat b/f putting her back in the water. Wired up a live bait tank, checked the engines and put eveything back on board!
Did anyone get out over the w/e? Good to hear from Jambo Jersey that the mackerel have made an appearance.
Not long to go now ...
Cheers, Bald

Had a nice brill of about 7lbs from our charter trip on Friday, but spinning on Saturday was unproductive!

Cheers for all the replies - sounds like there's a fair amount of fish in Guernsey at the moment, no doubt there in Jersey too you've just got to know where to look!! That's the bit which generally takes me most of the summer
Grant, were you out on the Anna II? What bait did you catch that Brill on, sounds like an awesome fish ...

I was out on the Anna II- we were trying for tope, but after a while it was clear that they were not turning up. We had enough fresh mackerel as well.
Bait was live sandeel! Not a great suprise! If I was cleever would post a picture up here, but dont know how to attach files, but it was a very nice fish, and my largest flatfish to date.
