they arent quite professional pots! wont take much use and abuse to be honest if being set out on reefs etc. might be best to go to the harbour and speak to some of the lobstermen, they might have some old ones that arent 100% they would let you take away for a song.

I agree with dan, the ones on ebay wont take much abuse. You could always try making your own, they are really easy to make and you can always find lengths of plastic tubing, rope, netting and everything you need to make one on the shore. just a thought

This is an interesting post and deserves its own topic.
I dont condone this type of action as lets face it, the pot belongs to someone and it cost money.........however..... I have lost count of the amount of times I have gone to a favourite mark only to find some A@@HO?E has strung out a load of pots no more than 30 - 40 yards from the shore making fishing almost impossible....coupled with the fact that I have walked some way with all my gear my reacttion is.....
"with all that ocean out there, Why set the pots at favourite RSA marks in such a way that others cant fish"
I swear they do it on purpose......or is it just me....... I dont think so. What do others think?
I was down church cove last week on the Lizard. I counted over 30 flags in the bay within 500 yards of the shore with some almost within touching distance let alone casting distance. I personally think its irresponsible behaviour and should be banned........ban netting and potting within a mile of the shore.....
Is this too radicle....I dont think so.....
