Catch Report Sunday 18/6
Well didn't have too bad a trip out in the boat today.
Decided it was best to try and feather for Launce and then try the sandbanks.
Feathering was not going to well on the launce front - only two in an hour, but then started to get into some mackerel, and to top it all, managed a Mackerel and a Bass of 3lb.
Ventured off onto the banks after that but not much doing, and was having a constant problem of my running ledger rig twisting up, so called it a day.

Went out in the kayak on Saturday and had my first bass, a little way from where you were! Not as good as yours, but it went back, as do most of mine!
By the way, thats a big reel to fit on your mullet rod!

Ah, the pics are a little misleading as it was caught somewhere else!
Must admit that I did keep the bass for the pan! On the basis that all my mullet go back (and some tos*er had emptied our pot for us) it was kept for dinner tonight!

Good man- I know you put back most of your catch anyway.
Gutted about the pots though- that kept happening to mine at Green Island.
Was a brilliant weekend to get out though- glad you had a good one.
