gillingham pier/sun pier

fished gillingham pier again Sunday 24 pouting nothing else, mate caught a sole,2 hours after top of tide.fished sun pier today only used squid caught 3 pout.
keep hearing rumours other fish caught but have not seen anything,am i doing something wrong?

hello dave i have fished gillingham pier a few times i have only ever caught small stuff from their i tend to fish it after i have been somewhere else and need to finish off my bait i have had pouting whiting and school bass ive never seen anything decent come out their i did here some guys got dogfish there and someone got a 12lb bass from the strand last year. maybe see u down there sometime.

hi, fished gillingham pier on the 7th august at night caught small scholl bass and a nice 1.5lb sole

i fish there sometimes i have caught 2 dover sole of 1.5-2 lb each before and a
mate of mine caught a 2.5lb sole afew months ago seems quite good few sole and pouting, not a lot of anything else.
