Catch Reports
The CI board has gone a bit quiet over the past few weeks - must be all the good weather keeping everyone out fishing!! Has anyone caught anything worth mentioning? Not me I've been getting stuck into the bream, mackerel and a few bass but nothing substantial :-(
Hoping to get out tomorrow night so maybe my luck will change ...

There are other places a bit more lively for local information. Most of those on here are from Jersey so I can't contribute much to most of you crapauds.
I went on a boat trip at the weekend and had a brill about 3lb as well as about 4 gurnard and some pout. the catches were pretty dissapointing really but the tide was a bit naff. Someone on the boat had an albino brill and another had a nice sandeel on live sandeelsee www.GBASS.co.uk for Guernsey Bass Anglers Sportfishing Society Information

A sandeel on a sandeel - interesting stuff and an albino brill!
Appreciate there are more lively boards but from what I've found they're mostly aimed at the other Islands not Jersey ... does anyone know of a Jersey message board like the one on Fishing Guernsey?
Cheers for the reply!

Sorry can't help.
Not alot of catch reports coming out from me as I'm travelling for July on holidays and business for all but about 5 days in Guernsey. News I'm hearing though is of very good catches coming in and someone from work caught a 5 1/2lb black bream last week and in general fishing is improving all round.
Got to go its far to hot here in Cyprus (work) to be mucking around on the laptop as soon as I clear my work the I'm going to hit the pool!"Even a fish wouldn't get in trouble if it kept its mouth shut!"

not this year though ;-)
There was a 14lb bass landed during the shore fishing festival last week as well as a host of other good fish. Looks like the weather's improving so the next few weeks should provide some great sport!!
