boat launching liverpool
my pal and i would like to make a boat fishing trip to the mersey .
would appreciate any advise on public launch sites in and around liverpool.

As far as I know the only decent launch is on the wirral at New Brighton. I may be wrong but I'm sure you need a class 2 powerboat cert. and insurance to launch there !
Liverpool marina at Mariners wharf have a slip on the Liverpool side but you have to then go through the lock so you are governed by the tide and I'm not sure how much it is to launch !
