Harrison Drive
Fished 1 1/2 hours before low tonight and had great sport with 1 common smooth hound of 10lb,plus 3 Starry Smooth Hounds between 7lb n 8lb,all taken on rag/crab cocktails.

It`s fishing from the far sand bank,which is between the old coastguard station at the end of Harrison Drive,and the Derby Pool pub....you need to cross a very wide gulley to get there,and it is a bit of a hike,but it`s worth it.You can get out there about 2 hours before low,but you must leave around 1/2 hour after,as the gulley is deep and fills up quickly.Once out there,look for a small black bouy,with a yellow top,and fish opposite that.....the lads have had more smoothies and thornies over the past couple of weeks.
