Mullet or Bass on Fly ?

I hear a fly is a good alternative for Mullet and (or) Bass ? ...

Has anyone had success on fly ? .... if so what type of fly should be used ? ...

    hi mattp_76

i do salt fly fishing, and what i use for mullet are flies that look like shrimp there are many types. i also use shipman buzzers that look like water lice and i use flies that look like maggots. mullet will go for things as the tide comes up and dead things are washed out they feed on them have a look at low water and see the diferent things they might feed on and try to copy them also foam flys like fling ants, black horse flys most times when you see mullet they are very hard to catch but put a fly that floats on them and you can get some results. keep a eye on the water and see what is landing on it and try to copy it. or small bit of foam soaked in mashed bread

bass will hit any fly, as they are preditors bigger the better try differnt coulor lures stripping fast around rocks, but hold on they can take a lot of backing of the reel.

hope you have some reel screeming fun
