One of my all time favorites!! Cheap as chips as well. The small ones are used to bait crab pots and the big ones usually sell for 60-80p/kg at fish auctions. The best eating fish for the money - hands down.

I usually fillet and bone like a mackerel, removing the central boney strip from eack fillet. Then roll in seasoned flour and pan fry. Simple, nutritious and delicious!
