    Saltwater gear

I fancy trying for mullet with my trout gear, I might only fly fish saltwater twice a year.
Do I really need a saltwater fly line.

    Thanks in advance.

No! Freshwater gear is fine just throw it a warm bath/shower afterwards.

Yep I have done a reasonable amount of saltwater fly on my fresh water setup and as Flyguy said if you give it a good rinse off afterwards it will be fine.
