Went to Harrison drive yesterday with my son and fished 3up and 2down by the clown roundabout. We had no takes only crabs robbing the bait. As the tide went out we went on a bait search and got our own back on the crabs getting adozen poppers /peelers. We then got aload of cockles and mussels. An hour after low we fished in front of the pole out from the clown and I caught a takeable plaice.

A few of us fished the low,about 50 yds to the left of the groyne by the clown....only a few dabs came out,but our crabs had sadly died from the heat,on the way back from Wales......
